GREEN ENERGY / INVESTING IN GREEN ENERGY

Cold storage needs energy.
We look ahead.

Our investments in wind and solar energy and the modernisation of our systems are part of Timfrost’s continued development.

WIND, SOLAR AND CONSIDERED CHOICES

Step by step.
With tomorrow in mind.

Our site has two wind turbines, developed in partnership with Aspiravi. They mark a visible milestone in our approach to green energy.

Solar energy is also firmly established on our site. We have had solar panels installed and continue to invest in them.

A look at the construction of the wind project.

Two wind turbines

The wind project on our site was developed with Aspiravi: a concrete investment in green energy generation.

Solar panels and continued investment

With 2,600 solar panels installed, solar energy is firmly established on our site. We continue to invest in solar panels.

LED warehouse lighting

Part of the fluorescent lighting has been replaced with LEDs. Lighting is another aspect of the modernisation of our site.

Upgrading refrigeration technology

In 2015, the Freon refrigeration systems were replaced with ammonia-based systems, an important step in the development of our refrigeration systems.
